Omerta City of Gangsters was a fail because no interesting multiplayer modes. Players want a mafia multiplayer game where they can fight each other for the control of a city. Mix of Management,strategy and tactics. A lot of people don't care if games have multiplayer. That is not why it failed. Just bad forced combat. Not to say it's multiplayer didn't fall short somehow , but I never tried it as I am one of those people who does not care about multiplayer. Honestly your lucky it even had it.
